Pre-School Story and Craft Time happens every other Wednesday morning at 10:15 am for children ages 3 - 5. Library staff read stories to children, teach them to use the library, and help them to create and fun and unique keepsakes to take with them.

The Dog Therapy Program is a program for children of all ages to improve their reading and public speaking skills. By reading out loud to a licensed therapy dog, children are provided with an attentive, non-threatening listener to give them confidence. Ritz, our dog therapy dog, visits the second Wednesday of each month, starting at 3:30 pm.

The Summer Reading Club is held for 5 or 6 weeks each summer for children ages 3 through the completion of grade 8. Library staff and volunteers organize and run this comprehensive and creative program which begins each year in late June or early July. Weekly meetings are then held on Wednesday evenings during the summer.
